Part 1 of my trip to Bali is HERE.
We started our day 3 as early as day 2 at 7.30am and there were only 2 places we wanted to visit:
1. Ubud Tour for Elephant Riding
First thing first, group photo before we were splited into 2 groups.
From far left: Nicole, Ching Ching, Camile, Jacqueline and me.
That was my outfit of the day: Bikini underneath, beach dress &
Ching Ching & I.
Carmen wanted to have a photo with me too.
Getting ready! Nicole was sharing the seat with me. We were struggling right here as the elephant kept moving and the seat was too small for 2 persons (even though we are petit human being). It was scary at first.
Even I could say "Cheese" to the camera
Nicole was so
Done with elephant riding. We en routed to the next long awaited destination.
This was also the last destination that would make our Bali trip complete- Dreamland beach. This was the only place that I was so looking forward to visit as I heard so much about how beautiful Bali beaches are, I wanted to witness it for real. And here I was, doing my suntanning
Us: Carmen, Ching Ching, Nicole and me (from left)
The beach is so beautiful as its name. How could I say no to a photoshoot ?
Victoria's Secret inspired poses, lolz .
Enough for modeling shots yet? Now it's fun time with the girls.
Carmen, Camile, Ching Ching, Crystal. The Cs love bikini
Jump shot.
Yoga shot.
At night, we went back to Potato Head for pool party and drinking. It was last night we were in Bali, it's time to get drunk and enjoyed ourself.
Jacqueline, Nicole, Carmen & James.
Carmen, James, Fiona and me. I think we were busy to take photos more than we drank.
Fiona, me, Ching Ching & Camile.
Group shot of us: The happy people.
After drinking, some went for foot massage, some went out, I went back hotel room to sleep. :D
The shopping street is so long that it leads me all the way to another beautiful beach. Not much time left, I & Carmen only took a chair, sat down and enjoyed some drinks.
Here, the $3 tattoo. It was my very first time to have ink on my body so I was quite excited to show it to people.
That was also the last thing I did in Bali.
Overall, Bali is such a memorable and beautiful place. The food is nice, shopping is relatively cheap there compares to one in Singapore (definitely, I know). We enjoyed ourself so much even it was tiring for the first 2 days.
We also had some bad experiences there too. My friend went to money changer to exchange Singapore dollars to Ruppiah and somehow she got cheated by the couple at the shop even though she counted her exchanged money thrice. So please remember, if you happen to visit Bali and need to go to money changer: Don't ever let them count your money and hand it to you. You must always be the last one who counts.
For myself, I wasn't cheated . I overly paid the taxi-driver 10 times the price that it was supposed to be. I wasn't familiar with the currency as there were too many zeros on their notes and I mis-read the 25,000 ruppiah as 250,000 ruppiah instead. I was so nice that I even gave the taxi-driver tips, wtf . The driver took the money, counted but didn't even say a word to me. He just drove off quickly. An hour later only I realized that I did "charity" work. Oh Well! Lesson learned.
Other than that, Bali is fine and definitely re-visited destination.
I hope you enjoy the blog entry, the photos, the journey I shared with you and sorry for taking so long. Will talk to you more in the next entry.
Something exciting coming up! Stay tuned!
Love,
Crystal
