If you have been following me long enough, you probably know that I lean toward femininity and sophistication when it comes to fashion. It's a typical style of mature and professional women, who want to be successful in their career and work very hard for it. You can read back a few of my blog posts here, here, and here to understand what I'm talking about.
But today, you are going to see a very different side of Crystal.
Instead of wearing the usual midi skirt, blazer, and pointy pumps, I wanted to know how it feels like to be a rock chic for a day. This gray asymmetrical draped skirt is in the upcoming CPxPrincessa collaboration (please stay tuned for it) and inspired by the Helmut Lang's collection. I tried to pair a few different wardrobe staples with this unique skirt, but only the motor leather jacket met my satisfaction. Then, I was considering a pair of strappy heels to elongate the legs or the crystal ankle boots to push the badass girl vibe to the next level. The ankle boot sandals won the game in the end.
Boy meets girl. Edge meets glamour. It's a typical good-girl-gone-bad outfit for the weekend that surprisingly makes me feel free and alive. It felt as if I found a missing piece of myself in this outfit. I found a fearless, sassy, and sexy Crystal compared to the elegant, sophisticated, and classy one from Monday to Friday. I don't know which Crystal I like it better, but I know for sure, I'm going to explore more different styles in the next few months.
Have you ever tried to dress up differently from what you normally do and found out that you love the new style so much? That's what I'm experiencing right now.
Thank you so much for reading!
