While some people in the US are celebrating their new president of the United States, others are protesting Donald Trump's victory in many cities (hope everyone is safe), I'm sitting here writing about my New York trip two months ago. And guess where I have left off? These photos from day 5 of New York Fashion Week, taken right next to the Trump Towers. It wasn't my intention to publish this post at this sensitive period of time. I hope the street could turn back to its peaceful scene like when I was standing there. The latest news that I read 15 minutes ago on NYTimes, the protest is still going strong and there are some people get hurt. That's not what we want to happen to people regardless if they are Republican or Democrats, do we?
Anyway, put political issue aside, this black and white outfit received so many "Love" on social media every time I posted it. It was my last-minute-put-together outfit when I packed for fashion week. I usually categorize my outfits into 3 types: most favorite, favorite, and least favorite one. This outfit happens to be in the third category simply because it's nothing fancy or new. Just a black ordinal wide-leg pants paired with a white asymmetrical chiffon top (Thanks to Revolve!). To make the look more interesting, I decided to use a black chiffon ribbon (from the other pants) to wrap around the top and secured it with the black flower hair clip and safety pins.
There you have it! My secret of this look to make up for a long-overdue post. Don't say I never share.
Thank you so much for reading!
