2007 NEW YEAR IN KUANTAN

I felt so lazy. I opened my blog a few times, but didn't feel like writing a new post at all. It seems all of my friends are busy with their New Year celebrations, and I'm alone in my room. I miss my family. I couldn't go home to celebrate Chinese New Year with the family this year because I couldn't afford a flight ticket. I didn't want to ask my parents for money as I knew, they already had so many things to buy for the house during the New Year already. 

I spent 1 week at my friend's house in Kuantan to celebrate Chinese New Year with her and her family. It was a great time for me as I felt like staying in my own house. Everyone in the family was so friendly that made me feel really comfortable. I went to visit their relatives, helped them organise a BBQ party, we went to the beach near their house and went to the temple to pray for luck. 

Especially, I had a chance to meet up a few Vietnamese girls who got married here with Malaysian men. They are really happy. This New Year, I received a few ang pows (lucky money) from some people that I didn't know them before at all. What a good luck to start a new year!
