From a chic and stylish woman in the morning to an edgy and fierce girl in the afternoon, my outfit game change on New York Fashion Week day 5 was pretty drastic. And I had fun doing it. I mean, how often can we wear 2 to 3 outfits during a day and walk fashionably on the street, with the beautiful brown-bricked buildings as a backdrop. Not many. In fact, it was my dream for 20 years. I had to take advantage of these chances as much as I could, especially when I had my partner-in-crime Hallie from Halliedaily and a photographer with me.
This was a second shoot Hallie and I did together. The first one was so spontaneous. The second time was the same. We also didn't really discuss in advance what we wanted to wear. We would pick whatever outfit each of us has packed for fashion week and is unworn. I didn't pack the black fringe skirt and the bralette with me. I bought them from either H&M or Forever21 store in Timesquare (I can't remember). I didn't expect such contrasting textures can blend in so well together. Delicate lace with soft suede and edgy leather for an intense yet sensual appearance.
Hallie, on the other hand, is a Queen of classic, feminine and polished style. She paired a cute Delpozo neon bow sandals with a lustrous A-line midi skirt and white knitted top. It couldn't be chicer than that.
You have no idea how many people were looking at us curiously on the street while we were doing our shoot. But it didn't bother us much because you know, girls just want to have fun.
Thank you so much for reading!
