After two weeks in cold and windy Northern Vietnam, I'm finally back to the sunny little red dot. The first thing I wanted to do was to wear something as light as possible. Something cool and airy to remind me how much I missed the heat and sunshine in Singapore.
While putting all my trenchcoats and sweaters away, I found this Paper Thin Skirt in my closet. I bought it in June of last year, and it still has a price tag on it. Still. As its name suggests, the skirt is as thin as paper and wraps with an overlay and solid trimming along the waist and hem. What attracts me about this skirt is the Cameo Holographic printed pencil skirt as the first layer. I love how it provokes a curiosity of what's underneath the white chiffon wraps when I walk and gives a colorful surprise to the street-lookers. I paired this skirt with a chiffon tank top as I love the feeling of chiffon flowing on my body. It feels as soft and tender as the white clouds. Then, I added a beautiful rainbow in the clouds to create my colorful dream.
Let's me tell you more about it.
I dreamed of having a pair of Valentino heels for years. When I first saw these multicolor rockstud pumps on LuisaViaroma's website, I was completely head over heel in love with them. I tried to find many different reasons to justify spending over a thousand dollars on a pair of shoes. At last, I ordered, but had to wait for almost four months as the shoes were not available online. Right before I flew to Vietnam, the shoes were delivered to my doorstep. I couldn't be more excited to bring the rainbow pumps out with me when I came back to Singapore. These photos tell you a part of my dream.
It is a pretty dream, isn't it?
Thank you so much for reading! Hope your dreams come true one day!
